The Groupe Consultatif

The Groupe was established in 1978 to bring together the actuarial associations in the European Union to represent the actuarial profession in discussion with the European Union institutions on existing and proposed EU legislation which has an impact on the profession.

The Groupe also now provides a forum for discussion amongst all actuarial associations throughout Europe. Thirty-four actuarial associations from thirty-one European countries are represented on the Groupe.




Forthcoming Events

The 2008 Colloquium will be held in The Hague, Netherlands, on 21 November and not in Madrid in June as originally planned.
The provisional theme is a topic related to Solvency for Pension Funds. Further details will be made available here as soon as possible.

The 2008 Summer School will be held in Lyon, France, from 21-23 July. The topic will be Solvency II and ERM. Full details, including programme and registration form, are available here.
